The FourthAnnual Guns N' Hoses 5K Run/Walk
will wind through the historic streets of the
North Beverly neighborhood in Chicago
on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
Packet Pickup will be held only on the morning of the race.
If you've never run this route you are in for a treat. This chipped timed, USATF Certified 5K course, is one of the most beautiful and scenic routes in the City of Chicago. Do you want to form a team? It's easy just fill in the team name at registration or join an existing team!!
Registration includes: tech shirt, after party, chip timing and USATF course and a great breakfast!

The Guns N' Hoses 5K Run/Walk benefits the
100 Club of Chicago's Education Assistance Program
for the families of fallen first responders.
Each year the 100 Club will provide a number of grants to the biological, adopted and stepchildren of those law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS providers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. This includes all federal, state, county and local first responders stationed in Cook and Lake Counties. Grants may also be made to the surviving spouse of a 100 Club Hero. FAQ’S
Can I sign up on the day of the race?
Yes, we will take registrations on the day of the race beginning at 6:30am. We will take cash or checks, no credit cards.
Where and when can I pick up my race packet?
Packet pickup will be held on the moring of the race starting at 6:30am
Can I pick up a friends or family member’s race packet?
Yes
If I miss the deadline for the guaranteed t-shirt, can I still get the size I asked for?
Yes, we will make every effort to ensure everyone receives a t-shirt. Sizes may be limited after deadline.
Are baby strollers and dogs allowed on the course?
Yes, strollers are allowed, but for the safely of all our athletes and volunteers, our insurance does no allow dogs at the event.
Can I wear my headphones while on the course?
No, for your safety please be aware of your surroundings during the race.
How long will the course be open if I want to walk the 5k race?
The course will be open from 7:30am until 9:00am to give ample time for all athletes to participate and complete the course.
Will the race still happen if there is inclement weather?
We will make every effort to hold the race, keeping in mind the safety of our athletes and volunteers. In the event of inclement weather, start time may be delayed in order to hold the race.
Can I get a refund if I can’t run the race?
No, we cannot refund registration fees.
Will there be water stops and what will be served?
Yes, approximately every 1 to 2 miles water will be available.
Can someone else run the race for me?
No. All participants must run under their number.

- All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions.
- Participant bib numbers may not be exchanged with or transferred/sold to another person. Sale, trade and/or transfer of race entry/bib number is strictly prohibited and may result in the disqualification of and/or banning offenders from participating at future events.
